Cold

Spring was great
But summer is over
And we missed autumn
Now all I see is winter........

After one awesome day of ponning ( or whatever correct word that i don't bother checking) work, I'm back to the office.
It's always boredom that makes people write. From my point of view, poets sitting at lakeside or mountain top and staring at one spot for more than 2 hours are just trying to reach that state of boredom so that they can write, just as how monks sit there all days doing nothing trying to reach Nirvana state.... ohm...
I'm writing this post with two great assumptions. First one is that you have watched HIMYM, the coolest show on Earth, the one that I followed all the way back since 2008, when people were still thinking that it's lame. If you haven't watched then you can just close this tab now because the title of this post would make you think I'm a gay, which certainly would never happen in one zillion years. The second assumption is that you love it. If you don't then you can just fuck off.
So HIMYM fans, stumbling across the CBS blog, I just want to share a few thoughts about this cool concept introduced in season 4. Recap, what is Naked Man? The innovative seducing method created by the primitive cavemen, whom we have to give credit to as Barney stated that they were fearless men who dare to try, to do, to survive, to live among not only saber-tooth tigers and dangerously wooly mammoths, but also lady cavemen who were really, really hairy.

Step 1:
You and the woman you clubbed enjoy rotting deer carcass by torch light

 Step 2:
Your woman steps out to use the little girl's cave. You take off your loin cloth

 Step 3:
Delighted by your boldness and unharnessed masculinity, she would fall for you

This works.... 2 out of 3 times

2 out of 3 times. However, my point is not how fun this concept is but rather the what it means for me. It's about being "open" to everyone. Though you need not reach the extent of literally go naked but yes, wouldn't this be a much better place to live if everyone is nakedly open to each other? 2 out of 3, it is a 66.66% success chance and by probability it is an obviously better choice so why don't go for it? Why are we so scared of that one third chance of being rejected. Then I recall what happened in my life and how it would change if i were to apply Naked Man. Let's just assume that the 2/3 ratio is correct.
If I were to stand up in the middle of Chem lecture and shout out : this is bull shit, there is a one third chance that i get kicked out of school, laughed by friends for trying to act rebellious and two third chance of the school changing the teacher, my friends admiring me. Should I go for it?
If I were to tell this friend of mine that he is getting annoying and there is a 2/3 chance that he would shut up, 1/3 he gets more annoying, should i say it?
If I were to tell a girl that I want to hang out with her and there is only 33.33% that I am rejected, shouldn't I?
Even if the ratio was 2/3 I don't think I would dare to... or even when it goes down to 1/4, 1/5...
It's just that I'm scared of failing
Are you?

December

December arrives with countless tiny droplets of water, moisture and the abysmal sky.
December is like seeing a girl with a sad face who breaks down occasionally, wet your shirt and dampens your day.
The blush of her face every time you look at her now fades into that annoying grey color.
Remember spring? When you used to look at her for hours, seek for comfort and understanding from her clear blue eyes, wait for the gentle touch that is just gentle as morning breeze. Now your eyes would just end up wet if you look at her for too long.
Remember summer? When every morning you would look out of your window and smile to her yellow beams of sunlight, glowing so bright that they would brighten up your day. Scientists admire her smile so much that they wanted to capture it for eternity, that they invented those lifeless panels just to save the remnant.
Remember autumn? When the whole world hold their breath and look at her just to wait for her silvery smile. Her smile brings hope, as myths say that by closing your eyes and make a wish when she smiles, your dreams would come true.
Now she is just there crying.
But you cannot do anything.
If she's about to cry, running away is usually the choice people made. And the best thing you can do is to take out your umbrella to separate you away from her sorrow, her teardrops.
She meant so much to you.
Why not try to comfort her one day?
Why not stay there and feel her tears?
Why not stand there and let her cry over your shoulder?
Try,
You may understand.

Tears that my heart could not release
Fell down from Heaven, bringing peace.
Last night while gray clouds softly wept,
I held you in my arms and slept..........
